Unstuck Ministries (formerly The Life of a Single Mom) is a national nonprofit headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

We achieve that vision by offering a variety of women’s and single mom-centric services that bring hope in Christ as the foundation, focusing on 3 key areas: Parenting, Finances, and Mental & Spiritual Wellness.
While Unstuck Ministries exists to see women in all walks of life become free, the ministry is also the nation’s largest provider of Christian single mom curriculum. This includes launching thousands of single moms’ support groups in churches, offering life skills through Single Mom University®, and providing ministry leadership training & support. But we don’t stop there! We also host awe-inspiring women’s events and provide a variety of other support services to ensure all women remain unstuck!
Each program, event, and service focuses on a holistic approach to impacting women with one vision – to experience the free-indeed, healed, and whole life in Christ. Solidifying both local and national award recognition, our programs transition women from crisis to stabilization and ultimately to thriving. On average, 150,000 women connect to our programming annually.
Self-sufficiency is a misnomer. We promote Christ-dependency. In Him, we find complete healing, wholeness, and provision for all parenting, financial, and mental wellness needs.
Financial literacy to reduce government-dependence is critical but must be taught in conjunction with other core life skills for a holistic and well-rounded approach.
We do not promote victimhood. We celebrate victors through Christ who can stand against the trouble of this world.
We do not promote single motherhood. We simply meet single moms where they are – serving, teaching, challenging, and loving them. In fact, many would say that Unstuck Ministries not only serves single moms, but is likewise in the single mom-prevention business!
We offer truth, including hard conversations that dissect root causes and honesty that has a far-reaching impact on the lives of women who have often never had the love and care required to receive the truth.

We believe education is critical. People perish for lack of knowledge. Our education resources are vast and include hundreds of thousands of downloads annually by women just like you!
Our support services are many and include a national single mom support group map, help launch a single moms’ Bible study in your church, a national resource guide for emergency support, counseling, product distribution, prayer, and so much more. In any given week, we can be found serving hundreds of women, both locally and nationally.
